The past few days I’ve done so many interesting things.
- A few of us went to a small town called Gruene that feels like it’s stuck in the 1920s. Their actual slogan is literally, “Gently resisting change since 1872.” We danced in what felt like a big barn and everyone was like family. It was a Tuesday night, and it was PACKED and so fun
- My pal Dave came in from Houston, and we went grape stomping (picture) and wine tasting in the hill country…we mainly hit up the Fredericksburg area
- Tubed the Comal River…apparently the shortest river in the world – It was very similar to the San Marcos River, but they had a bunch of “tube shoots” and mini waterfalls
Seriously, I feel like I could be here 10 years and still do new stuff all the time.
That’s because we Texans are friendly… it’s the friendship state! … and since we are friends we like to constantly be doing things together… so hence, there is a lot to do.. with friends… you will miss it when you leave, and your friends… and we’ll miss you.
