5. Android Updates
Google announced a plethora of Android to make even the most loyal iPhone user jealous. Among other updates, Android will now offer:
- Picture-in-picture for videos (kind of like YouTube’s version) straight from your home screen, so you can browse and watch at the same time.
- “Notification Dots” to its apps, letting you subtly know when an app has a notification or update.
- Autofill, suggesting commonly used submissions, such as usernames or phone numbers
- Machine learning. For example, users will be able to simply double-tap a proper noun to select the entire multi-word phrase, instead of selecting each character individually
