The Land of 1000+ Activities

Multimedia message

The past few days I’ve done so many interesting things.

  1. A few of us went to a small town called Gruene that feels like it’s stuck in the 1920s. Their actual slogan is literally, “Gently resisting change since 1872.” We danced in what felt like a big barn and everyone was like family. It was a Tuesday night, and it was PACKED and so fun
  2. My pal Dave came in from Houston, and we went grape stomping (picture) and wine tasting in the hill country…we mainly hit up the Fredericksburg area
  3. Tubed the Comal River…apparently the shortest river in the world – It was very similar to the San Marcos River, but they had a bunch of “tube shoots” and mini waterfalls

Seriously, I feel like I could be here 10 years and still do new stuff all the time.

  1. That’s because we Texans are friendly… it’s the friendship state! … and since we are friends we like to constantly be doing things together… so hence, there is a lot to do.. with friends… you will miss it when you leave, and your friends… and we’ll miss you.
