My final project will be on the internet as a massive human experiment. A while back I heard broadcast on NPR from On Point with the Co-Founder of OK Cupid and how he admitted to the public that the website using the data as a large scale human experiment. He took on a lot of backlash but at least he was honest- unlike Facebook initially. I’ll be able to interact with the audience of my website by creating polls and surveys, create videos of TXST student opinions and have interactive data graphs on the website. My five pages will include a home page, an about/mission page, a polls page, an opinion page, and a page detailing some of the findings companies have discovered through using their website’s data.
